A fire broke out at a US military facility near Tokyo early Monday with multiple explosions reported, Jiji Press news agency said.

A warehouse at the Sagamihara general depot, in Kanagawa prefecture bordering Tokyo, was ablaze, it said, quoting the local fire department and other sources. A resident of the area reported hearing more than 10 explosions, the agency said.
