Palestinian toddler's murder

The father of a Palestinian toddler killed last week after their home was firebombed by suspected Jewish extremists has died of his injuries in an Israeli hospital, a Palestinian official said Saturday.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official in the north of the occupied West Bank which includes the village of Duma where Saad Dawabsha lived with his family, said Palestinian and Israeli authorities were trying to make arrangements to transfer his body for a funeral.

The Dawabsha family in Duma also confirmed the death.
