Egypt’s army said, in a statement issued on Thursday, that three officers and seven soldiers have been killed during the bombing of two explosive devices during their raids against terrorist cells in the middle of the Sinai Peninsula.

The statement added that the operation led to the killing of 15 extremist elements, adding that they arrested seven extremists and destroyed two stores of highly explosive of TNT and a large number of explosive devices.
