British Prime Minister Theresa May

British Prime Minister Theresa May on Thursday accused the other 27 EU states of lining up "to oppose us" over Brexit, responding to comments by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The "27 other European countries line up to oppose us", May told a campaign rally in Leeds in northern England, after Merkel said the UK should have no "illusions" that it would retain the rights of an EU member after Brexit.
