British PM urges unity 'against hatred' after MP's murder

Prime Minister David Cameron urged unity against hatred on Monday as members of Britain's parliament held a tearful special session to pay tribute to their murdered colleague Jo Cox.

The British leader called on lawmakers to join forces against "the hatred that killed her".

Cox, a member of the opposition Labour Party who backed British membership of the EU in the run-up to a June 23 referendum, was shot and killed last Thursday in a northern English village.
