Egyptian actor Ahmed Mekky has denied rumours that there is bad feeling between him and ?Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbe after her referred to her “silicon” in his latest film. In one scene in “Samir Abu El-Nile”, a satire on the media industry, Ahmed quips: “I’ll bring Haifa Wahbe, and her silicon too.”? In an exclusive interview with Arab Today, the multitalented actor said: “I didn’t mock Haifa Wehbe or undermine her at ?all in the scene. It’s important to watch the movie first before judging it, because we didn’t mock or ?undermine anyone at all.”? Ahmed, who has also tried his hand as a director and a rapper, added: “A state of absurdity has arisen around the film, and I don’t know what motives for it are. This includes, for example, what has been spread about me mocking the sports media presenter Medhat ?Shalaby, which is totally untrue. “Therefore, I ask people not to judge things before seeing them so that ?the judgment is done on correct basis.”? Samir Abu El-Nile, directed by Amr Arafa, tells the story of a stingy, unpopular middle-class man whose fortunes change when his cousin offers him $80 million.
