Syrian regime forces launch attack in cities of Western Ghouta

Syrian regime forces mounted a violent attack on the cities of Darayya and Muadamiyat al Sham in the Western Ghouta, the local coordination committees in Syria said on Friday.
The Syrian regime troops used tanks and minesweeper as well as barrel bombs dropped by the Syrian aircraft, the local coordination committees added.
The media center in Muadamiyat al Sham said several areas in the city have witnessed fierce clashes and shelling by the Syrian regime troops, backed by a Russian minesweeper and a number of tanks, in a bid to control over the city.
