Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov Russian sappers inspecting schools and hospitals in eastern Aleppo found that all of them had been turned into militants' headquarters, ammunition depots and arms factories.
He added that Western criticism of the operation to retake rebel-held neighborhoods of Aleppo is hypocritical, Fox news reported on Tuesday.
Konashenkov also accused Western powers and international organizations of failing to deliver humanitarian aid to eastern Aleppo.
