Damascus - Arab Today

At least 15 civilians, from the same family, were killed in airstrikes conducted by the US-led coalition on the northern Syrian city of Raqqah, local sources were quoted by Sky News channel as saying on Saturday.

Raqqah city came under heavy bombardment by both the coalition and the Washington-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the sources said, pointing out to the suffering of the civilians due to the shortage of the medical supplies and lack of drinking water over the past two months.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has announced earlier that the SDF managed to capture almost half of Raqqah city following fierce clashes with Daesh terrorists.
