Syria is approaching ultimate victory over terrorism.
Damascus - SANA
Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar said that military victories achieved by Syria and its people against terrorism and its backers all over the country are an indication that eliminating terrorist groups is imminent.
Al-Shaar’s remarks came during the graduation ceremony of new batch of internal security officers held at the Police Academy in Damascus on Saturday.
The Minister said that the Syrian people have “the originality, heritage of resistance, firm belief in the homeland and self-confidence which gave them the strength, ability and insistence on steadfastness and resistance.”
Al-Shaar congratulated the graduates for joining the Internal Security Forces who are consolidating the homeland’s safety and security.
The graduation ceremony included a military parade and an oath-taking ceremony for graduates.
