Syria's local coordination committee
Damascus - Arab Today

Syria's local coordination committee said 34 people, including nine children and four women, were killed in shelling and clashes across Syria over the past 24 hours.

Regime and Hezbollah forces took over several areas in Rif Dimashq after fierce confrontations with opposition forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Daesh militants seized several buildings in the regime-held Deir Zor city.

The Syrian television has earlier announced that regime forces killed 12 elements of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham - formerly known as al Nusra Front - in northern Aleppo.

A number of Daesh militants were killed by regime forces in eastern Rif Aleppo and western Palmyra.
