3 rockets fired by Syria militants hit northeast Lebanon

Three rockets fired by militants operating in Syria hit the Northeastern Lebanese region of Bekaa Valley. Security sources said the rockets landed on the villages of Nabi Othman and Labweh on Friday but left no casualties, press tv reported. The terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) operating against the Syrian government claimed responsibility for the attack. On April 2, rockets also targeted Labweh, killing a Syrian national and wounded a resident of the village. The Shiite-populated region of Bekaa Valley has been targeted by rockets fired by anti-Syria militants over the past few months. Lebanon has been rocked by the spillover of the conflict in Syria, with its North being the epicenter of fierce clashes between supporters and opponents of the Syrian government.
