Syria
Amman - KUNA

At least 13 people were killed and 17 others wounded by the Syrian regime's aircraft barrel bombs dropped over Maadi district of Aleppo, north of the country, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday.
Deaths are likely to rise as two of the wounded are suffering serious injuries.
Also in Aleppo, aircrafts dropped barrel bombs on other areas of the governorate, as clashes went on between fighters of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and the Syrian forces in the vicinity of an army airport, the monitoring group said in a statement.
In addition, mortars fell on Al-Abasseein area of the capital, where several people were injured.
Meanwhile, dozens of people from the pro-Assad industrial city of Adra staged a sit-in in central Damascus to urge the regime to negotiate with the armed opposition in the capital's Eastern Ghouta where many are held hostages. They want an exchange of hostages for prisoners in the regime prisons.
In the meantime, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said today that seven people had been killed and three injured when a suicide-bomber from ISIL detonated a car bomb in the town of Graniq, in Deir Ezzor. Many nearby houses were damaged.
In Al-Haska, northeast Syria, an explosive device was detonated in a sheep market killing a child and injuring six people, according to SANA. Other five people, among them two children, were wounded, when two mortars fell on a house in Al-Haska city.
A woman, two of her children and a third, were injured when two shells fell on Al-Katifa town, Damascus countryside, SANA said.
