Iraqi armed forces continued to advance on Daesh's stronghold of Mosul in "We Are Coming, Nineveh" operation.

The spokesman of Joint Operations Command Saad Maan said on Tuesday that Daesh incurred heavy losses since the operation started, as 1852 terrorists were killed, 108 detained and 176 car bombs destroyed.

He asserted that the Iraqi forces are keen on protecting civilians' lives and properties and infrastructure in residential areas.
