Carter Urges to Wipe Out Daesh in Mosul and Raqqa at the Same Time

US Secretary of Defence Ash Carter said he wants an assault on the ISIS stronghold in Syria as soon as possible. "We want to see an isolation operation begin around Raqqa as soon as possible," he said.
Work has already begun to retake Mosul as Iraqi forces descend on the city held by the depraved death cult since 2014. The offensive, which is just five miles from the edge of the city, is backed by 60 countries and has delivered training to local forces in a bid to destroy ISIS.
