At least 10 killed in Iraq attacks

At least 10 people were killed Wednesday in attacks across Iraq, dpa cited security officials as saying. Five pro-government militiamen were killed in an assault near a military base in the town of Ramadi, some 110 kilometres west of the capital, Baghdad. Three civilians were also killed in Ramadi when their car hit a roadside bomb, added the officials. Gunmen shot dead two policemen in the town of Baiji, some 170 kilometres north of Baghdad.
