Five Iraqis were killed, while 15 others injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up on Monday targeting a funeral in Diyala Governorate, Muqdadiya Council chairman Adnan al Tamimi said.
Security forces cordoned off the area, while ambulances moved the injured to hospital for medical treatment, Tamini added.
Meanwhile, a civilian was killed, while five others were injured in a bomb explosion near a market in Baghdad, a security source said.
Also, another bomb exploded killing and injuring a number of civilians.
