A total of 167 Daesh terrorists were killed in a military operation that was launched on Tuesday in Saladin governorate, Iraqi Joint Operations Command said on Thursday.
The forces of Iraqi military, police and popular mobilization destroyed 13 bobby-trapped cars, 32 armored vehicles, 15 headquarters and arms and ammunition warehouses and six motorcycles affiliated to the terrorist group during the operation.
The forces also opened safe corridors for Iraqi families who want to exit the area witnessing clashes for the third day in a row.
