Baghdad - KUNA

Eleven Iraqis were killed and 45 others injured in powerful explosions in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Monday, a security source said. A suicidal bomber detonated explosives strapped to his waist at a cafe in the Karrada neighborhood in central Baghdad killing seven civilians and wounding 20 others, the source, who requested anonymity, told KUNA. He said security forces cordoned off the area. A booby-trapped car exploded near a popular market in Al-Sadr City, eastern Baghdad, killing four civilians and injuring nine others, the source said. He said six civilians were also wounded in a blast caused by an explosive device in northwestern Baghdad
