Two Libyan soldiers were killed and 15 others injured on Saturday in clashes with forces of the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries.

Spokesman for Libya's Special Forces Colonel Miloud Al Zawi told MENA that the special forces support the national army in the the ongoing battles there.

Air forces' jets and heavy artillery have intensely targeted sites and hotbeds of armed groups in Sabri area, he added.

Army forces closed all roads leading to the sites of the clashes to protect the lives of civilians, Zawi said.
