Three people including a child were killed on Wednesday in a recent wave of violence, raising the number of deaths to 16 since last night in the southern Pakistan city of Karachi. According to police, the killings occurred at Natti Jatti Bridge, Kharadart, and Kaghazi Bazar area of the city. Several suspects have been arrested during the search operation yesterday in different areas of the city, after the blast in Landhi which killed two people and injured many others. On Tuesday, 13 people including four policemen were gunned down in different areas of the Karachi, according to media reports. The militants who were targeting unarmed people started to target security personnel since last night. A number of bodies are being taken to hospitals with the identities of victims still to be ascertained.
