Islamabad - KUNA

Three NATO containers carrying supplies for United States and NATO troops in Afghanistan were torched by militants on Monday in the southwestern Pakistani Province of Balochistan. According to police, militants torched three NATO containers in the Western Bypass area of Quetta City in Balochistan. Four militants came on two motorbikes, opening fire on the containers and forcing the drivers to stop the container and escape the scene, said police. The armed assailants then set the containers on fire and fled. The containers were completely destroyed till the fire fighters reached the scene but no human losses were reported. Atacks on NATO containers have been intensified since last week. The attack came just after an attack on a NATO container on Sunday in Bolan district of Balochistan.
