Islamabad - KUNA

The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharifs National Security Adviser, Sartaj Aziz, on Thursday said that Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are not serious about peace talks and the airstrikes by Pakistani fighter jets in northern Pakistan have been effective. Speaking to media in Islamabad, the Advisor said the state's writ would be established in the troubled regions, adding that the targeted action in Waziristan was beneficial in the long run. Earlier, Pakistani fighter jets killed over 60 militants and destroyed many militants hideouts in northern tribal region bordering Afghanistan in a week. The advisor further said that Pakistans defense policy would be soon announced as the internal security policy had been formulated and approved.
