Actress Jessica Biel and singer Justin Timberlake will be honored for their active support of the LGBT community with an Inspiration Award at this year's GLSEN's Respect Awards.

The ceremony, which will take place in Los Angeles on Oct. 23, showcases the work of students, educators, individuals and corporations who work to make positive impacts in the lives of LGBT youth.

Previous recipients of the Inspiration Award include Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder, Jim Parsons and his partner Todd Spiewak, Bob Greenblatt and Marilyn Katzenberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg. The group will return to the event as honorary co-chairs to celebrate the organization's 25th anniversary.

"Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake will be honored with the Inspiration Award for their long-standing commitment to improving the lives of children," GLSEN announced in a statement. "They have also been vocal supporters of the LGBT community, using their profiles to raise awareness among fans and advocate for positive changes."

News broke of Biel and Timberlake's marriage in fall of 2012. They have one child together, Silas.
