Boulder - UPI

The father and son stars of the History Channel's "Swamp People" have been released on bail after being arrested for battery in Louisiana, authorities said. Roland Paul "R.P." Molinere Jr., 51, and Roland Paul "Jay Paul" Molinere III, 25, both of Bourg, surrendered on warrants for their arrests Friday on charges of aggravated battery for an incident Aug. 8, Tri-Parish Times, Houma, La., reported. The reality stars were accused of beating a Houma man in front of a mini mart. The alleged victim suffered a black eye, swollen jaw and injuries to his head during the attack, which he reported Aug. 13. He told police he and the suspects got into an argument and they followed him to the store and attacked him. The store's surveillance cameras caught the incident on video, the newspaper said.
