Washington - UPI

Pop star sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson met with fans at a North Carolina mall, signing autographs and posing for pictures, fans said. About 200 people lined up to meet the sisters Saturday at the SouthPark mall in Charlotte, the Charlotte (N.C.) Observer reported. Fans who had bought at least $50 worth of items from Jessica Simpson's fashion line received signed photographs. Allyssa Paulsen, a 19-year-old from Morris, Ill., said she drove with her sister and two friends to meet the Simpsons. She said she has been been a fan since sixth grade when she saw Jessica Simpson perform in concert. "Ever since then, I've loved her to death." The sisters later met privately with fan 27-year-old fan Laurah Zeek, who suffers from spinal stenosis and traveled nine hours from Pennsylvania to see them. Zeek said she has meet Jessica Simpson before. "She's just the most wholesome celebrity out there."
