Ragheb Alama on Cannes red carpet

Prominent Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama has posted on his official page on the internet social network Twitter a series of pictures of his participation in the Cannes International Film Festival. In two of the photos Ragheb appears walking on the red carpet of the festival, and in a third photo he is waving to fans. Another photo shows him holding a conversation with internationally known American actor Danny Glover in the lobby of the hotel that is reserved especially for stars attending Cannes. According to the internet website MBC.net, Ragheb travelled to France last week after receiving a special invitation to be part of the festival. Before heading to France, Ragheb made it a point to celebrate his eldest son’s fourteenth birthday. The singer wrote on his twitter page, “Today I celebrate my eldest son Khaled’s fourteenth birthday. The years have passed by so quickly and now I see him as a young man.” Ragheb added, “Khaled resembles me in many ways and I pray that his life is always filled with happiness.”
