Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram held a grand performance earlier this week at the international Moroccan Music Festival Mawazine. During her performance she sang a selection of songs by the late Algerian singer Warda who recently passed. Despite the inclement weather during the concert, tens of thousands of Nancy’s fans attended and sang along with her the entire time. Once Nancy began singing Warda’s songs, the audience was very affected and began shedding tears and one of the fans fainted. Due to the cold weather conditions, Nancy was forced to wear a coat on top of her gown and on top of the coat she wore the Moroccan flag. According to the internet website MBC.net, during a press conference prior to the concert in which she expressed her honor at being a part of Mawazine, especially since it is the second time she participates at the prestigious festival.
