New York - UPI

Julianne Moore and Kristen Stewart say they truly have a connection.
The actresses co-star in new film Still Alice, and detailed their relationship in an interview with E! News on Wednesday. The pair first met when Moore's husband Bart Freundlich directed Stewart in Catch That Kid (2004), and Stewart said she jumped at the chance to work with the star herself.
"Everyone always says that you want to work with people that you truly have a connection with, but it doesn't always happen," Stewart, 24, related. "It's something that is so very much in us. The story is powerful and sad and scary, so I was very comfortable jumping into that with her."
"I couldn't love her more," Moore, 53, declared of Stewart. "She's such a wonderful actress and she's so emotional, so full of feeling. She really has it at her fingertips, and I just love her. I love her to death."
Still Alice is based on Lisa Genova's 2007 novel of the same name, and directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland. Moore stars as Dr. Alice Howland, a psychologist diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, with Stewart as Lydia, one of the characters' three children.
Alec Baldwin co-stars as Alice's husband Dr. John Howland, with Kate Bosworth and Hunter Parrish as Lydia's siblings Anna and Tom Howland. Shane McRae also appears as Charlie, with Stephen Kunken as Dr. Benjamin and Victoria Cartagena as Professor Hooper.
Still Alice opens in theaters Jan. 16, 2015. Moore will next appear as President Alma Coin in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, while Stewart is scheduled for Anesthesia, Equals and American Ultra.
