LONDON - Arabstoday

Former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue is reportedly fighting to save her relationship with model boyfriend Kris Smith. A source close to the couple said they have had a series of rows over their heavy workloads and are battling to juggle family life with their busy careers and travelling between the UK and Australia. Dannii hinted about the strains in a few heartfelt messages on Twitter. She tweeted: 'Never chase love. If it isn't given freely by another person, it's not worth having.' In another message she wrote: 'Forgiving someone does not mean forgetting what they did. It simply means letting go of the hurt.' Kris, a former rugby player, also hinted on Twitter that the the couple were going through a rough patch when he said: 'You don't know what you've got til it's gone.' The tweets were later deleted and the couple are now talking about what  to do for their son Ethan's first birthday in July, according to the News of the World. 'Kris is not happy about Dannii's heavy work-load, and wants her to spend more time with him and baby Ethan, and has put his foot down,' a source told the tabloid. 'Dannii is not happy about having to choose between work and family, and they have been arguing about this recently,' said the friend. The couple, who first met in Ibiza three years ago, have both expressed their joy at becoming parents for the first time. But their heavy workloads mean they are often apart with one in the UK and the other in Australia. It is believed Kris, 32, is currently working in Manchester while Dannii has returned to Australia with 10-month old Ethan to start filming Australia's Got Talent It is thought the conflict started after Danni had to give up working on the British version of X Factor. But the pop-star turned fashion designer recently wrote on her MyDaily.co.uk blog that she was upset at leaving show but said she was not 'livid' or 'upset' about her departure. Dannii added that problems arose when the dates for filming the popular show conflicted with commitments in Australia. 'I will be back in the UK very soon for the release of the next 'Project D' collection, 'My Style' fashion book launch and some other secret projects,' she said. So far Dannii's departure means that Louis Walsh will be the only returning judge on this year's panel. He will be joined by Take That singer Gary Barlow. Other judges for the show are still being confirmed but N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, 22, is a hot favourite and show bosses are desperate to get Cheryl Cole back after she was sacked from the US version of the show. Dannii, 39, has always spoken about returning to Australia and it is believed that she and Kris will now try and permanently base themselves there.
