California - UPI
"Bachelorette" stars Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum announced they got married, becoming the second couple in the U.S. TV show's 24 seasons to tie the knot. The wedding took place Saturday in an outdoor ceremony in Pasadena, Calif., People magazine reported. Franchise host Chris Harrison officiated. Family, friends and fellow "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alumni -- including Ali Fedotowosky, Emily Maynard, and Jason and Molly Mesnick -- attended. "Today is all about our friends and family," Hebert told People. "It's about standing with J.P., looking around at all the people we love in the same room there to celebrate our love." ABC filmed the ceremony, which will be featured in a 2-hour television special Dec. 16. Hebert, a 28-year-old dentist from Madawaska, Maine, met Rosenbaum, a 35-year-old New York construction manager, on Season 7 of "The Bachelorette," and the two became engaged on the season finale. The first franchise couple to tie the knot were Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who wed in 2003.
