Damascus – Arabstoday

Syrian singer Asala Nasri has said she does not care about the campaign against her because of her position against the Syrian government. The singer said she faced harsh criticism from people due to her stance against the government’s crackdown. She said that killing innocent children was a crime and that the country belonged to everyone and not to someone in particular. She said Syrian people were simply demanding their basic rights and that they were proud of their country and belonged to it. Nasri launched a new revolution song titled “If the chair could speak.”
