Adel Emam thankful to Algerians for their support

Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Emam has sent out a special thank you message to all Algerian stars for showing their solidarity with him in regards to the recent court verdict sentencing him to a three month jail sentence after being found guilty of blasphemy in his films. Adel also thanks all Egyptians and Arabs around the Middle East for their ongoing support and their rejection of the verdict against him. According to the internet website MBC.net, Adel said that he is living a normal life and filming the scenes for his upcoming television drama “Firqit Naji Attallah” (Naji Attallah’s band). Adel said that he has refused to talk about his case with the press and is leaving the matter to the public’s opinion and thankfully everyone has showed him support and are by his side. He added that he has closed all his phones so everyone around the world can see the reaction of Egyptians and their refusal of such injustice. Adel has showed great optimism to his case and is very happy to the reaction and support of everyone. When the actor discovered that Algerians are following his case step by step, he immediately sent a thank you letter to them and expressed his gratitude to their stance.
