Saudi Minister of Housing: Targeting citizens most deserving residential support

Minister of Housing Dr. Shuwaish bin Saud Al-Dhuwaihi led the Saudi and Arab delegation participating in the works of the seventh session of the World Urban Forum held in the city of Medellin, Colombia, during the period April 5 to 11, 2014 AD. In a speech on this occasion, the Minister of Housing said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the Arab countries which has made strides to achieve justice and equality in the provision of adequate housing. He indicated that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently focused on the development and support of the housing sector, adding that the kingdom has taken practical steps to address the issues related to slums and their development. The minister said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently participating in the preparation and review of the urban strategy of the Arab countries.
