Tunisian Prime Minister, Ali Laarayedh, today expressed his interest in promoting the standing economic, trade and investment relations with the UAE and described cooperation between the two countries as firm and deep-roored. In remarks as he received the UAE Ambassador to Tunisia, Salim Eissa Al-Za'abi at his office in Al-Kasbah, the Tunisian premier also thanked the UAE for backing and assisting his country. At the meeting, the Al-Za'abi conveyed to Laarayedh greetings of the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and his best wishes of further progress and glory and prosperity for Tunisia. Laarayedh asked the UAE Ambassador to convey to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, his greetings and best wishes of further success and progress for the UAE people under the prudent leadership of the country.
