Bt are appealing for students to enter inventions for the 2013 Bt Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition which was launched last week. Student entries have evolved over the years to reflect the constantly shifting economic, environmental and social landscapes in Ireland. In the 2012 exhibition more than one in seven demonstrated entrepreneurial flair and honed business acumen. However, this figure rose to 30% of projects from Northern Ireland. These students were fully aware of the value of creating and owning entrepreneurial ideas. BT Ireland chief executive Colm O'Neill said: "As we count down to the 49th exhibition, I would like to encourage all students to send in their ideas because we've proven that the exhibition can lead to brilliant opportunities for those that participate." The BT Young Scientist -amp; Technology Exhibition will take place in the RDS, Dublin from January 9-12, 2013.
