India International Trade Centre along with Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association and SME Chamber of India is organizing an NRI (non-resident Indian) Business Summit from Jan. 4 to 6 in Mumbai, with the support of the governments of Maharashtra, Gujarat and other states, the Consulate General of India said in a press release. The summit will provide a platform for connectivity between global and local Indian business tycoons, entrepreneurs from all sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, power, banking, IT and ITeS, health care, education, sports, entertainment, hospitality, and food processing and allied industry to identify emerging business, investment and collaboration opportunities. Participants will have an opportunity for a one on one meeting including with potential business partners, CEOs of multinational companies, banks, investment boards, policy makers and government agencies. Leading corporate heads and business tycoons will address the summit. The organizers will also recognize and felicitate 10 global Indian entrepreneurs with business excellence awards. NRI businessmen, NRI associations, organizations, Indian chambers, councils, federations and trade promotion organizations based in Saudi Arabia are invited to participate at the summit, the consulate added.
