Seoul - Yonhap

President Park Geun-hye said Friday that the government should continue to relax or lift regulations in healthcare, finance and other service industries and drastically improve the country's environment for foreign investment. Park made the remark during a meeting with economic ministers in the central administrative city of Sejong, saying she wants to see the relocated ministries work hard from their new base to help Asia's fourth-largest economy make a "quantum jump." "If we are going to get the economic recovery to lead to sustainable growth, we should, more than anything else, revitalize domestic demand," Park said during the meeting, adding that one of the keys to energizing domestic demand is deregulation.
