Saudi Arabia's national carrier nasair has announced the launch on July 1 of the first flight from Riyadh to Peshawar, Pakistan's new destination. According to Captain Francois Bouteiller, CEO, nasair, the new destination will include 8 weekly flights from Riyadh — four to Peshawar and four others from Peshawar to Riyadh. He added that nasair will fly a modern Airbus A320, a plane designed to transport passengers with the utmost comfort and safety, to Peshawar. Captain Bouteiller said: "The launch of this new destination completes the flight plan for travelers between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan that started last year with direct 28 flights from Riyadh or Jeddah to Islamabad and Lahore. He added "nasair provides through these trips a full range of smart services, including competitive pricing, online booking, seat selection online, online pre-payment of excess baggage, online boarding pass, Mobile booking and mobile boarding pass. "Peshawar is the latest nasair destination in Pakistan and we know that this is a vital connection between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to bring the people of the two friendly countries closer and further promote relationships," Captain Bouteiller said. "We at nasair are determined to remain always 'The Smart Choice' for the growing community of travelers in the two countries. Our services offer comfortable journeys with on-time flights for pilgrims as well as families and businessmen."
