Meed’s Qatar projects 2013 conference kicks off

Under the patronage of H.E. , Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman and Managing Director, Qatar Petroleum Dr. Mohammed bin Salah Al-Sada Qatar Projects 2013 conference started at Grand Hayat Doha Hotel. The three-day conference will include discussion panels and interactive sessions with major industry leaders and stakeholder, to discuss ways of improving operational readiness and insuring proper execution of the projects. HE the Chairman of Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah will receive the MEED Lifetime Achievement Award at the gala dinner today. Following the presentation ceremony, HE Al-Attiyah will take part in a live interview about his lifetime work and achievements. The Qatar Projects conference kick started with a welcome address including economic and regulatory updates by H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Saud Al Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank.
