Co-chair of the Turkish-Egyptian Business Council Adil al-Lamei said that there were certain problems associated with the Egyptian economy following the revolution but that Egypt would overcome all difficulties in its economy. Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA) on the sidelines of the Joint Meeting of the 14th Turkish-Egyptian Business Council, al-Lamei underlined that "Turkish-Egyptian relations were eternal". "We have good social, economic and commercial relations with Turkey," al-Lamei noted. "Despite the difficulties, the Egyptian economy is strong. New arrangements will be made in Egypt so that investments could increase. As businesspeople, we are preparing Egypt for the new period," al-Lamei stated. "We are discussing energy and logistics issues under the partnership of Turkey and Egypt. Turkish investors attach high importance to projects in the energy and logistics sectors," al-Lamei also said.
