Pakistan's benchmark stock index, the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index, fell 0.08 per cent at the close of trade yesterday. The index of 100 companies traded on the Karachi Stock Exchange fell 10.37 to 12,433.17. Among the stocks in the index, 37 rose, 46 fell and 17 were unchanged. Declines in the Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index yesterday were led by Nestle Pakistan Ltd, Mcb Bank Limited and National Bank Of Pakistan. Active stock Article continues below Lucky Cement Ltd, which fell Re1 to Rs72.60, was the most active stock by value in Pakistan. The next most-active issues were Pakistan Oilfields Ltd, which fell Rs5.25 to Rs385.09, and Fauji Fertiliser Co Ltd, which fell Rs1.42 to Rs164.52 during the day's trading.
