Austrian economy to expand in 2013

Austria's gross domestic product will grow by 1 percent in 2013 and 1.8 percent in 2014, the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (Wifo) forecast on Thursday. The country's domestic economy will remain in a stable condition compared with some other eurozone countries which are suffering from high jobless rate and weak growth, according to Wifo. Exports of the country are predicted to increase by 3.8 percent this year and 6 percent in 2014.
