Tokyo Stocks rise for 4th trading day as Yen weakens
Tokyo - QNA

Tokyo stocks rose for the fourth consecutive trading day Thursday as the yen slightly weakened against the US dollar, easing concerns about earnings among exporters.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended up 67.33 points, or 0.41%, from Wednesday at 16,646.34. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 2.97 points, or 0.22%, higher at 1,337.27, according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
Gainers were led by textiles and apparels, and iron and steel as well as mining issues.
