Tokyo stocks rebound amid weaker yen

Nikkei ended 1.48 percent higher in the morning session of Tuesday, with market sentiments stimulated by the yen's weaken. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 230.94 points, from Monday to 15,872.62. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 9.54 points, or 0.74 percent, to 1,303. 4. By sector, real estate, precision machinery and rubber issues gained ground, while air transport, oil and coal shares moved lower.
