Tokyo shares end higher by break

Tokyo shares ended the morning session higher on Monday on bargain-hunting after six trading day losses in the market and on the receding expectation over US rate hike due to its recent sluggish jobless data.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average jumped 86.75 points, or 0.54 percent, higher from Friday to 16,193.47.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 7.47 points, or 0.58 percent, to 1,305.79.
