Singapore stocks close flat
Singapore - XINHUA
Singapore stocks finished flat on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 0.25 points, or 0.01 percent, to close at 3,205.29. A total of 2.61 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 21 billion Singapore dollars (976 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered decliners 246 to 177, while 528 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 1.6 points, or 0.05 percent, to close at 3, 205.54 on Tuesday.
