Seoul shares end 0.77% lower on Ukraine woes

South Korean stocks closed 0.77 percent lower Monday as investors' risk aversion increased amid political unrest in Ukraine, analysts said. The local currency fell against the U.S. dollar. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 15.3 points to 1,964.69. Trading volume was moderate at 220.3 million shares worth 3.33 trillion won (US$3.12 billion) with losers outpacing gainers 506 to 301.
