Qatar stock exchange up 0.23%

The Qatar Exchange in green area on Thursday 9,976.21 points or 0.23% to 23.34 points from the previous closing of 9,952.87 points on Wednesday. The volume of the shares down to 7,527,665 from 10,614,647 on Wednesday and the value of shares decreased to QR 1,332,275,342.82 from QR 511,882,908.49 Wednesday. Among the top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar whose share up 1.19% to QR 68.00 , Qatar Insurance whose share added 1.09% to QR 65.00 , United Dev. Company gained 0.04% to QR 22.60 and Salam International increased by 0.16% to QR 12.20. The Banking and Financial sector index was down 0.04% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index fell 0.01 % points. The industrial sector was lost 0.01% points while insurance sector up 0.46 % points.
