The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Sunday adding 83.80 points or 1.00% to 8,431.54 points from 8,347.74 Thursday. The volume of shares traded up to 9,102,082 from 5,539,446 on Thursday and the value of shares increased to QR357,808,442.06 from QR238,892,983.20 Thursday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 2.77% to QR126.00, Barwa Real Estate by 1.89% to QR29.70, Masref Al Rayan by 1.44% to QR24.620, Electricity & Water up by 1.80% to QR135.50 and Intl. Islamic Bank by 3.47% to QR53.60. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 104.29 while the Insurance sector up 51.86 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 160.14 points and the Services sector added 47.76 points
